Composites slitting company Bindatex has joined a UK initiative to help SMEs improve productivity and growth.
Almost 950 SME manufacturers have secured support and £2.5 million of funding since the launch of the Made Smarter 18 months ago. ‘Support from Made Smarter will catapult our business on to a new level and enable us to compete globally,’ said Chris Lever, MD. ‘Our project to capture valuable data from the shop floor to find efficiencies and productivity gains is the first step on a digital journey towards an entire digital factory.’
