When completed, the whole site will be the company’s third largest after Ludwigshafen, Germany and Antwerp, Belgium. BASF plans to power it with electricity from renewable resources and aims to achieve 100% renewable by 2025.
BASF opens factory in China
According to the company, the plant will supply around 60,000 metric tons of engineering plastics compounds per year in China for the automotive and electronics industries.
