August webinar covers composites in architecture

Composites Australia is running a webinar during which Australian architects, engineers and composite manufacturers will discuss major projects and explore how to realize the potential of composites in design and architecture.

They will look at the benefits of composite materials in architecture and some of the latest and most striking examples both in Australia and overseas, examine the synergy between architect and composite design software platforms and identify the hurdles to adoption and the engineering support available to Australian designers and composite manufacturers.

Presenters include David Karotkin, MD at Sandover Pinder, Tony Stanton, engineering manager, Gurit Asia Pacific Ltd and Brian Nelson, director of Capital House Australasia.

The webinar takes place on Wednesday 10th August from 11 am to 12.15 pm AEST. To book go here.
