The prices of unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy vinyl ester resins will increase by €100/ton, and gel-coats and derivatives by €150 euros/ ton on 1 April 2011, depending on individual customer contracts.
This is the third price increase since January 2011.
Ashland reports that the price increases are primarily driven by the continued rapid escalation in costs for key raw materials and utilities at Ashland’s manufacturing units.
