AOC Aliancys has announced a price increase in the amount of US$0.04/lb. for the USA and CAN$0.085/kg for Canada for all polyester resins, gel coats and pigments sold in the USA and Canada. This increase is effective for all shipments on or after 8 September 2018, or as contracts allow. It includes all list and off-list/supported prices.
‘This action is due to continued increases in key raw materials including DCPD (dicyclopentadiene), phthalic anhydride, styrene, propylene glycol, and titanium dioxide, among others,’ the company said in a press release. ‘AOC Aliancys’ global purchasing resources continue to work with their network of suppliers to manage costs and meet customers’ needs.’
