AOC announces price increase for North America

The price increase of US$0.06/lb in the US and CN$0.13/kg in Canada will take place from 1 October 2013.

AOC says this action is prompted by significant increases in raw material costs.

The company has experienced steady increases since late July, and recently feedstocks such as benzene, butane and mixed xylenes, among others, are increasing.

AOC, headquartered in Collierville, Tennessee, USA, says energy prices have also risen substantially in the last two weeks, with oil regaining the highs of earlier this year.
