AMT Composites was founded 1989 and now have three branches and employs 38 people throughout South Africa.
TeXtreme® spread tow carbon fibre reinforcements, produced by Oxeon of Sweden, are used in composite applications requiring reduced weight and improved mechanical properties.
TeXtreme is being used in NASCAR, Formula 1, Americas Cup and advanced aerospace applications as well as sporting good applications such as bicycles, skis and ice hockey sticks (see Fanatic Snowboards selects TeXtreme carbon fabrics for latest models).
