Safran and Saertex have reportedly signed a 10-year contract to make carbon fiber aircraft equipment.

Under the contract, Saertex will supply multiaxial carbon fiber fabrics for Safran to use to produce engine nacelles for various aircraft, using infusion technology. 

‘We are delighted, with this long term agreement signature, to start a new partnership with a leader in technical textiles,’ said Thierry Viguier, Safran VP.
