Ahlstrom has announced a price increase on the specialty nonwoven materials produced by its Building and Energy business area which, it says, helps ensure sustainable a financial performance of the business unit.
The price increase will be 7% and will be implemented on 1 January, 2016.
The specialty nonwoven materials are mainly used in wallcoverings, floorings, building panels, composite reinforcements, automotive interiors, apparel, fabric care and wound care building, The Building and Energy business area has production sites in six countries.
