Ahlstrom-Munksjö, which makes fiber-based materials, has been awarded with a Gold rating by EcoVadis, a platform which provides sustainability ratings.
The gold rating is a result of performance improvements in all four corporate social responsibility dimensions: environment, labor practices, fair business practices, and sustainable procurement. It places the company among the top 1% of all suppliers evaluated by the platform, Ahlstrom-Munksjö says.
‘In the last few years we have worked hard to continuously improve performance and consistency in the area of sustainability and responsibility,’ said Anders Hildeman, vice president, sustainability.
