The new ACG products are:
- HTM® 556, designed for structural applications where high service temperatures are required, offers continuous service temperatures of 200°C (392°F). It is also reported to offer improved toughness and resistance to micro-cracking, traditionally a short falling of bismalimide resins; and
- HTM®515-1, a bismaleimide matrix system optimised for tooling applications which can tolerate thermal cycling to 250°C (480°F). It is also said to exhibit improved toughness and resistance to micro-cracking, leading to improved vacuum integrity and extended tool life.
