9T opens US office

Swiss company 9T Labs, which makes continuous fiber components, plans to open its first US office in Boston.

This follows a round of funding in the first half of 2022 which provided the company with US$17 million to help commercialize its Red Series machine, used to produce continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic parts.

Plans are to appoint the first US team members will be signed in the coming weeks, with other employees travelling to Zurich, Switzerland to learn the technology.

“Our team is confident of a strong impact on the American markets by our latest innovations in advanced composite additive manufacturing, and we look forward to working with US investors and expanding our reach to customers,” said Martin Eichenhofer, CEO of 9T Labs.
