3D printing design course

The ASTM is running an Advanced Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) Certificate course at the America Makes facility in Youngstown, Ohio.

The course covers metal, polymer, and composite materials, and takes placed from 28-30 September 2022.

According to ASTM, topics covered include topology optimization, lattice/mesh structures, custom parts, and reducing support materials.

This course, run by AM professor Olaf Diegel and Terry Wohlers, 3D printing consultant, has been designed for designers, engineers, managers, and others interested in learning and practicing the best approaches to DfAM.
