The agreement with Essen International in India is part of 3B’s strategy to develop its business in Asia, and the growth markets of India and China in particular.

Essen International, based in New Delhi, distributes composite reinforcement products to companies in India.

Owned by Platinum Equity, 3B supplies fibreglass products for the reinforcement of thermoplastics and thermosets. 3B operates manufacturing facilities in Battice, Belgium, and Birkeland, Norway, which were formerly owned by Owens Corning.
