3A Composites becomes the exclusive worldwide distributor of Tiansheng's core materials.
Under the agreement, 3A Composites and Tiansheng will provide the Chinese market with locally produced polyvinyl chloride (PVC) foam core materials as well as balsa wood products. As well as China's important wind energy market, the companies will also target the bulk freight and marine industries.
Having evaluated several potential partners, 3A Composites identified Tiansheng as the company with the strongest product-related and technological position.
Tiansheng New Materials is based in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, focuses on the production and sales of polymer foam materials, including soft foam material, structural foam (including polyvinyl chloride / PVC) and finished products made from these materials. The company has revenues of approximately RMB350 million and over 1000 employees. Tiansheng has been investing in structural foams since 2007 and will pursue its development work with 3A Composites.
3A Composites, headquartered in Switzerland, produces the Airex® foam and Baltek® balsa wood core material products.
3A Composites is a division of Schweiter Technologies, Switzerland.
