UK-based Nautech Composites is a manufacturer of glass fiber reinforced (GRP) tooling and moldings, producing hulls, decks and components for rigid inflatables, superyacht tenders and watercraft, ranging from 4 to 15?m overall length.

The company was set up by Sean Singleton, its current managing director (MD), to meet requirements for new builds, repairs and servicing to a wide variety of craft along the south coast of the UK for many clients, both trade and private. ‘Being able to offer cost effective solutions to provide high quality composite moldings for low and medium volume production, I have found a niche in the marketplace,’ Sean told Reinforced Plastics.

He has over 30?years extensive experience in all areas of composite tooling and moldings, ranging from working with concept designs, design for manufacture, for one offs and full production, as well as repairs, maintenance, servicing and restoration of vessels. According to Sean, the Nautech management team also has a lot of knowledge within the marine industry over many years designing, manufacturing composites and boat building.
