Day 3 at JEC Europe 2012

As expected, Thursday was a little less hectic, as the show began to wind down.

In the morning I met with Owens Corning about the launch of their FoodContact™ products designed to meet upcoming European regulations on glass fibre used in materials for food and drinking water contact. I knew about these products already from the webinar Owens Corning ran with Reinforced Plastics in December and it was good to learn about the latest developments. The company was also showcasing some interesting applications for its reinforcements on its stand, including a composite pallet and a manhole cover.

The rest of the day was spent catching up with as many companies as possible. Of course, it was impossible to see everything and so let me know what I missed! Did your company launch any new products? What did you find of interest at the show? Send me a message or post a note on the ReinforcedPlastics LinkedIn Group to share your thoughts.
