Ashland announces price increase for Europe

Ashland Performance Materials is increasing the price of its Derakane epoxy vinyl ester resins, and other resins containing liquid epoxy resin, sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and India.

The price increase of €400 per ton is effective immediately and Ashland says it is solely the result of the rapid and significant cost increase of liquid epoxy resin.

Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc (NYSE: ASH), USA, produces unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy vinyl ester resins.
