The price increase will take place on 1 June 2010, or as contracts allow.

The Syrgis products affected include methyl ethyl ketone peroxides, acetylacetone peroxide, and speciality blends containing these products. All products in these lines will increase in price by approximately 5-15% depending on the formulation.

According to Syrgis, increasing costs of chemical raw materials and packaging are contributing to the need to raise prices.
