VISTAGY partners with NS Solutions of Japan

31 March 2010

Software provider VISTAGY Inc has announced a strategic partnership with NS Solutions, a Japanese information technology specialist, to expand the use of its composites products in Japan.

VISTAGY's products include the FiberSIM® composites engineering software and Seat Design Environment™, which supports the process for designing and manufacturing transportation seat systems.

“Japan is quickly expanding the use of composites in the automotive, wind and other transportation industries as well as additional manufacturing sectors,” says Shigeo Sasahara, director of sales for the Industrial Systems Solutions Division at NS Solutions. “The partnership with VISTAGY is a significant step towards staying at the forefront of new materials and processes, which is critical to our company’s mission. With FiberSIM, the premier software for engineering composites products, NS Solutions will be able to offer our customers the most advanced solutions available.”

NS Solutions, which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, believes that the fast developing trend toward adopting composite materials within key industries in response to environmental issues, as well as increased competition, makes VISTAGY’s industry-specific software solutions a strategic part of its offerings. NS Solutions and VISTAGY will deliver solutions to Japanese companies looking to address the need to 'go green' while increasing the efficiency of the engineering life cycle.

“We’re pleased to have the opportunity to partner with NS Solutions because of its tremendous experience delivering advanced technologies and integration solutions to the Japanese market,” notes Mamoru Iguchi, VISTAGY’s general manager for Asia Pacific. “NS Solutions will enable a broader expansion of VISTAGY software into new markets in a very strategic region for our company.”

VISTAGY is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA.
