The company's founders, Axel Seifert and Michael Skinner, are known worldwide for their expertise in filament winding.

“The company will provide a range of products and services, focusing initially on filament winding and its applications, product design and development and training," says Skinner. "We want to broaden our offerings over time to have the services and products we need to give our customers easy access to composites technology.”

Seifert and Skinner & Associates will have offices in both Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, and in Brussels, Belgium.

Seifert has resigned his position as managing director at Material SA, while Skinner’s composite consulting activities will now be available exclusively through SS&A.
