Cray Valley, headquartered in Paris, France, says the price increase of 8% applies to all unsaturated polyester resins and their derivates sold to the composites and cast polymer industries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

The price increase is effective for all orders shipped on, or after, 15 February 2010.

"This increase is an unavoidable response to the sharp raise of prices of all main key feedstocks and raw materials utilised to manufacture polyester resins," reports Philippe Vindevoghel, Commercial Director Composites Europe, Cray Valley.

"We are expecting this situation to continue as some raw materials prices could increase further through the next quarter," he warns.
