TenCate receives 'significant' defence orders

15 January 2010

TenCate says it has been granted significant orders for anti-ballistic composite materials.

TenCate says that these defence orders, which will take several years to complete, amount to €40 million in total. Follow-up orders are not excluded.

Thanks to the new orders, the TenCate Advanced Armour group will be engaged for several years in the design, production and integration of armour systems with respect to vehicle protection programmes.

Given the confidentiality of these projects, TenCate can not release any further information about the orders.

TenCate Advanced Armour produces composite and ceramic materials and designs armour solutions for the protection of police, army, air force, navy and civilian service personnel, vehicles and vessels. It has plants in Europe and North America.
