DIAB will supply the BMTI syntactic foams through all of its sales subsidiaries with immediate effect.

BMTI specialises in development and production of composite materials and parts intended for deep underwater applications. The company's range of syntactic foam materials are available as blocks or as finished buoyancy products.

“There is a very good fit between the two companies as BMTI syntactic foams perfectly complement the existing DIAB Divinycell range," says Johan Gralén, Executive Vice President Sales, DIAB. "Together with our existing Divinycell HCP grade we will able to offer a range of materials that can be used at depths as deep as 10 000 m (33 000 ft). This will increase the value we bring to our customers in the offshore and subsea segment."

BMTI will benefit from the DIAB sales network.
