The three-day symposium will feature presentations on design and analysis, development, testing, qualification and certification, the filament winding process, production methods and equipment, recent advances, and other topics.
A table-top exhibition for suppliers of raw materials, machinery, software, engineering services and other products for composite pressure vessel technology will be held in conjunction with the symposium.

Applications for composite pressure vessels include storage of liquefied petroleum gas ( LPG ), compressed natural gas ( CNG ), hydrogen ( H2 ), air and other gases, as well as energy storage, water treatment vessels and other applications.
The Composite Pressure Vessel Symposium will be held on 15-17 November 2011 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Hasselt, Belgium.
