The price increases are:
- €200/tonne on all white gel-coat resins;
- €100/tonne on all pastel coloured gel-coat resins; and
- €50/tonne on all dark coloured gel-coat resins.
Reichhold, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA, reports that is has to increase gel-coat prices as a result of the increasing prices of key raw materials.
The company notes that while overall market conditions remain volatile with tight availability it will revise its specific product prices with individual customers on a monthly basis.
