The price increase of €100/tonne for all polyester and vinyl ester resins, and €150/tonne for all gel-coat and bonding paste resins, is effective for all orders shipped on, or after, 1 May 2011 in Europe.

Reichhold reports that these price increases are the result of continued increases in key raw material prices. The company says overall market conditions remain volatile with tight availability. It warns that these market conditions are not expected to change in the near future.
