Spatial Composite Solutions wins Virgin America cabin service trainer contract

06 January 2011

Spatial Composite Solutions of Dubai has been awarded a contract to design, build and install an Airbus A320 Cabin Service Trainer at Virgin America’s headquarters in Burlingame, California.

Spatial Composite Solutions manufactures crew training devices for the civil aviation industry using durable composite materials.

The Virgin America Cabin Service Trainer is a 1:1 scale replica of an actual Airbus A320 aircraft fuselage. It features an enhanced cabin layout complete with galleys, seats, overhead stowage bins, operational PSUs (power supply units) and an over-wing exit. The device will provide Virgin America with a realistic environment in which to train cabin crew. It will be located at the company’s training facility in its Burlingame headquarters close to San Francisco International Airport.
