The decision to open a core manufacturing plant in India came as a result of Asian demand of structural core materials and the signing of a long-term supply agreement with an unnamed major DIAB customer in the region.

In addition to producing the core, the DIAB facility also features a range of finishing equipment to process the blocks into finished sheets, apply various finishing options and produce customer-specific core kits.
