REpower Q1 result down 29%

Wind turbine manufacturer REpower says its result for the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal 2010/2011 fell 29% to €204 million.

Sales also fell 29% to €213.1m, and the EBIT was almost wiped out with a tumble of 86% to €1.5m.

REpower did not offer further details on the preliminary results for the period 1 April to 30 June 2010. The full report is expected in August.
