Barracuda Advanced Composites will market and distribute USA headquartered Ashland's Arazyn™, Aropol™ and AME™ resins to boat builders and other composites companies throughout Brazil.

Through the agreement, Barracuda’s customers will gain access to Ashland’s portfolio of resins for use in conventional lamination and infusion applications.

“In addition, Ashland’s adhesives, used for structural marine applications, will soon be available for local boat manufacturers," says Rodrigo Oliveira, marketing and sales manager, Ashland Performance Materials, Brazil.

The agreement between Barracuda and Ashland also extends distribution to manufacturers of composites that supply the wind power, civil construction, transportation, offshore oil exploration and aeronautics sectors.
