The composite roof is produced with the low shrinkage resin from Ara Ashland Araquímica reinforced with glass fibres, using resin transfer moulding (RTM).

The roof is 2400 mm x 2300 mm x 1000 mm, and according to Tecnofibras 200 parts will be produced each month.

The roof will be part of a series of truck parts for markets including South Africa and Russia in 2009.
