Overview
Today, individuals access information in a variety of different
ways depending upon their time constraints, mindset or specific
information requirements. Launched in January 2005, the digital
version of Reinforced Plastics is
delivered by email several days in advance of the print edition
and is browser based thus serving a complete issue in an interactive
and innovative format.
As the digital edition requires no special software download,
the product is easy to access and gives users the ability
to respond to editorial, display and recruitment advertising
content via live e-mail and web addresses.

Additional circulation
With an additional digital circulation of 7,311* requested
recipients the total controlled circulation of Reinforced
Plastics is now 18,821*, and provides more opportunities
to reach an audience of composites professionals with the
added value of interactivity.
As well as additional company specific content, the digital
version will also be able to accommodate rich media ads using
audio and visual material, offering a unique space to develop
original high impact marketing campaigns.
Rich media
The digital edition of Reinforced Plastics
offers you the opportunity to enhance your advertising through
the use of Rich media and Flash Technology providing a more
sophisticated online creative, with an emphasis on entertaining
the user, encouraging them to interact with the advert and
engage with the brand. Rich media formats such as a page peel,
aid the advertiser in providing a richer experience for the
user. This technology also allows you to include video or
audio. We recommend that you discuss this with the company
that produce your advertising creative work.
If you would like to include a Rich Media advert in place
of your standard advert there is a small charge for this.
Digitising Service of your print material
The software powering the digital edition of Reinforced
Plastics is highly sophisticated and not available
to anyone outside the publishing industry due to the high
cost of a contract. There are of course a number of low cost
packages available but they are low on technology and functionality
- little more than basic PDFs. We are now very pleased to
be able to offer to convert your company's promotional literature
using this interactive powerful tool. No job to big or too
small.
