High-volume metering system from Graco

THE DC12 high-volume metering system from Graco of Minneapolis, USA, is capable of dispensing 12 kg material per minute in adhesive paste applications, and 6 kg per minute in tooling paste applications.

It is said to be ideal for applications in the wind energy market, but also for aerospace, marine, military and tooling paste applications.

“The DC12 is the ideal unit for manufacturers of wind turbine blades,” says Doug Brady, Product Marketing Manager, Sealants and Adhesives Equipment at Graco. “This unit marks the beginning of a new generation of high-volume metering systems in the wind-energy market.”

DC12 includes Graco’s NXT Air Motor Technology, which offers modular design for easier maintenance, and it has an intuitive and easy-to-use touch panel display allowing simple integration into factory processes.

The metering system also includes the EnGarde ratio monitoring system with optional external flow meters to offer ratio monitoring independent of the ratio and supply system. According to Graco, the DC12’s repeatable on-ratio dispensing accuracies of +/- 3% reduce material waste and re-work.
