DIAB opens office in India

DIAB IS establishing a finishing facility and sales office in Chennai, India. The plant is expected to be fully operational by the third quarter of 2007.

According to the company, its decision to set up in India is as a result of the unprecedented demand in Asia for its structural core materials and also the recent signing of a long-term supply agreement with wind turbine producer Suzlon. The fully-equipped finishing operation at the new facility will be capable of producing sheet goods for the wind energy industry amongst other markets.
