GRP pipe facility inundated with orders

AMITECH SPAIN, a manufacturing facility of the Amiantit Group, has been awarded contracts totalling around US$13 million (€9.82 million) for the company’s Flowtite glass reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes.

The pipes will be used for a range of applications including: an underwater pipeline in Marseille, France; sewage pipe systems in Spain; and pipes for a power plant cooling system in Mallorca. There are also six orders for irrigation projects in Spain, amounting to US$9.3 million (€7 million).
