Woven fabrics catch a wave

SAINT-GOBAIN Technical Fabrics has developed a range of fine woven fabrics for the sports and leisure industry.

Developed for the wind and surfboard market, the top of the line twisted roving fabric (CF-8522) is said to deliver high strength thanks to the absence of heat cleaning and to offer glass clear composites that produce visually pure graphics even on black substrates. The 6 oz fabric (CF-8533) also provides the same performance.

Heat cleaned, glass clear, silane finished, fibreglass fabrics are the next level of performance available in 4 and 6 oz fabrics (CF-1522G and CF-7533G). These offer the same visually pure graphics with better affordability.
