Madshus skiers bring home
the medals

DURING THE 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin last month, Norwegian ski manufacturer Madshus' skis were used by top athletes in the biathlon, cross-country and Nordic combined events who, in total, won 10 gold, 15 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Madshus has been using ROHACELL® high performance polymethacrylimide (PMI) foam core materials in its ski designs for many years. The excellent strength-to-weight ratio and outstanding fatigue behaviour of the PMI foam makes the material particularly suitable for applications where high dynamic loads apply, says its manufacturer Degussa/Röhm GmbH & Co KG.

The Rohacell team congratulates Madshus on its success.
