FRP Technology opens E-glass plant in the Middle East

FRP TECHNOLOGY has opened the first fiberglass factory on the west coast of Saudi Arabia and the biggest in the Middle East. The plant is called FIBER1 and is located in Rabigh near the new King Abdullah Economical City.

The plant, which opened in January, will produce products in FRP’s FIBER1 E-glass range including the chopped strand mats FIBER1 ECM1 E-glass and FIBER1 ECM2 E-glass, the roving products FIBER1 ERD E-glass, FIBER1 ERS E-glass and FIBER1 EWM E-glass, and the woven tape FIBER1 EWT E-glass.
