Materials and Design Exchange polymer event

THE MATERIALS and Design Exchange (MaDE) is holding an event to educate designers on what is now possible with new materials and processes that are being developed. Working with Nature – Green Design Polymers will cover a range of subject areas including natural fibre and polymer composites, biodegradable polymers and recycling, eco-design and renewable chemicals and polymers.

The event is to be held at the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) in London, UK, on 8 February 2007 and is free to attend. A programme and registration form can be found at www.iom3.org/MADE/greenpolymers.pdf.

MaDE is a collaboration between IOM3, the Royal College of Art, the Design Council, the Institution of Engineering Designers and the Engineering Employer Federation supported by the Department of Trade and Industry.
