Oxeon increases fabric capacity

SWEDISH COMPANY Oxeon is expanding capacity for its TeXtreme™ tape woven fabrics and TeXero™ unidirectional tapes.

The expansion comes following the company’s successful raising of venture capital from investors including Latour Industrier AB. The increased capacity will be in place by the end of March 2007.

“The great interest in our products, the lack of lightweight carbon fibre fabrics on the market and our strong owners make us believe we are in a great position to make life easier for composite manufacturers and end users,” says Andreas Josefsson, Oxeon’s CEO.
