National Aerospace Laboratory holds RTM course

NATIONAL AEROSPACE Laboratory NLR is to host an introductory course on resin transfer moulding (RTM) from 24–26 April at its Flevoland site in Marknesse, the Netherlands.

The course will cover RTM as a manufacturing method for composite components for the aerospace industry. Participants will attend laboratory sessions in which they will manufacture preforms, undertake permeability experiments to visualise flow fronts and make flat plates using a variety of RTM techniques.

The course is designed for engineers, designers and managers with little or no experience of RTM.
